ProtoCON BC 2025 Game Jam!

ProtoCON BC’s Game Jam will run on November 9th, from 3 pm to 5:15 pm.

Sign-up starts on Friday, November 7th, along with Registration, and ends at 2:45 pm on Sunday, November 9th.

Designers can sign up as teams or come solo and join a team on the day. You do not need to have a Designer badge to sign up for the Game Jam.

Entry fee will be by donation.

The first 25 participants to sign up will be given:

  • 1 Panda Manufacturing Wood Kit

  • 1 Panda Manufacturing Paper Kit

  • 1 Fail Faster Playtesting Journal


Design Process:

  • Teams will roll 3 dice to select a mechanic, theme, and constraint from the Fail Faster Playtesting Journal.

  • They will be given a template to follow for what the game will be judged on.

Prizes for winning designs include:

  • Free access to the Fail Faster online course (Priced at $99)

  • Off the Pages Games board games

  • Further Prizes to be announced
